Daniels Ranch (?)

Also: Greenland Stock Farm ranch station

Ranches and homesteadsHistoric or vanishedDouglas County

What we know

Probably the Daniels station of the Greenland Stock Farm, about 1893 (prospectus list, via the helper's digest); A. B. Daniels of the Daniels & Fisher store in Denver is named among the Greenland pioneers (Higginson, S-0045). The label itself is illegible.

Where it was

Position of an illegible ranch label with two springs on the Map of the Greenland Stock Farm (about 1893; S-0125), north part of Sec. 17, T10S R66W; the name is inferred from the prospectus's list, the only station not otherwise placed. Good to about half a mile; identity uncertain.

Placed from a written description, such as a land section, a distance from a landmark or an old survey note.
