What we know
One of the seven sets of ranch buildings of the Greenland Stock Farm in its 1893 prospectus (Home, Johnson, Reddy, McBroom, Daniels, Nimerick, Chambers; Larkspur Historical Society binder 8 p. 14, via the helper's digest). The Nimericks were early Greenland settlers; a Greenland history tells of a Nimerick daughter's rock cairn, about six feet across and fifteen high, on 'Nimerick Mountain,' probably GNIS's Nemrick Butte a mile east (Higginson, 1984, S-0045; I).
Where it was
Position read from the Map of the Greenland Stock Farm (about 1893; S-0125), SE1/4 Sec. 1, T10S R67W, georeferenced to the BLM PLSS grid (helper's reading, label and section checked against the image 2026-10-07). Good to about a quarter mile.
Placed from a written description, such as a land section, a distance from a landmark or an old survey note.
