What we know

Du Pont's Craftsman-style club for its employees, with an assembly hall used for meetings, dances and movies, a billiards room and a bowling alley; at times it held a store, the post office, a reading room and a barbershop. Restored by the county 2001-07 (county map, citing the county landmarks program, S-0123). National Register Sept. 22, 1995; part of the Louviers Village district, listed July 2, 1999 (National Register list, in the Larkspur Historical Society's files, S-0199).

Where it was

On the fringe of the Divide outline (3.3 miles outside its edge), included as a fringe place. Pin on the Douglas County Historic Resource Map (DCHR-123; S-0123). Where that map and ours place the same site, the pins mostly fall within about 300 feet. Good to a few hundred feet.

Placed from a written description, such as a land section, a distance from a landmark or an old survey note.
