What we know
Jonathan P. Kelly claimed the land in 1860 and, after service in the Colorado Home Guards, ran a grain mill and hauled wood to Denver; the ranch was a Territorial Road stage station in the 1860s. His son William tried to build a townsite as Louviers grew; it never took off but served as a shipping point for Du Pont (county map, citing Appleby, S-0123).
Where it was
On the fringe of the Divide outline (3.1 miles outside its edge), included as a fringe place. Point in the 2011 KML of the county's Historic Resource Map (Settlement folder; S-0123). Good to a few hundred feet as a pin.
Placed from a written description, such as a land section, a distance from a landmark or an old survey note.
