What we know
The D&RG reached Larkspur in September 1871 (Larkspur Station by December 1873, S-0122). The depot, east of East Plum Creek, was scorched in the town fire of July 1900 and painted in 1901 (S-0122); by 1941 the post office was in the depot building (site report, S-0113). The station closed in spring 1948 and the depot was a section house in 1959 (Larkspur Historical Society binder 1).
