What we know

An earlier Larkspur creamery operated from 1896.

Where it was

Read from the 1956 Douglas County map inset of Larkspur with handwritten labels (Larkspur Book 1, Larkspur Historical Society binder 1 p. 220), georeferenced from its Secs. 27/28/33/34 corner (T9S R67W) and its 0.3-mile scale bar; good to about 200 feet. The same method puts the map's 'School' within 300 feet of GNIS's Larkspur post office, the old school building. Marr: 'the Carlson Frink creamery stood a short distance south of the depot, and the main road passed by it' (Larkspur Historical Society binder 1); on the 1956 map it sits beside the D&RG and the road junction.

Placed from a written description, such as a land section, a distance from a landmark or an old survey note.
