'In the timber … ten miles north of east from Monument' (Crofutt 1881); a new post office 'between here [Colorado Springs] and Gomer's Mill' (Gazette, Jan. 1874); 'on the head of East Cherry Creek' (1875). PO 1873 to Nov. 15, 1893, when its mail went to Monument (News, Nov. 14, 1893); the summit is at 39.121, -104.672. Moved south along Walker Road at some point (PLHS).
