## What we know

Completed in 1915 to combine the Pine Grove, Allison and Plainfield districts: a two-story brick school on Main Street, with high-school classes upstairs (accredited 1936). High-school students went to Castle Rock from 1958; the school closed in 1966 and the building passed to the town in 1996 (county map, S-0123).
