## What we know

After about 1864 Sarah Coberly kept her stage stop on East Plum Creek, beside the People's Fort, until about 1869 (Scott, S-0106); she later married William Crull, who kept the Huntsville post office here from 1866 (Jackson, via S-0123). The society's Earth map marks this as 'Coberly Halfway House #2'; its #1 matches our Coberly's Half-Way House on Spring Creek.

## Where it was

Pin in the Larkspur Historical Society's Google Earth version of the county map ('DC Resources,' Stage Stop folder), read from the feature's card on screen, 2026-10-07 (S-0123). Scott places the Coberlys' second site in the S1/2 of Sec. 16, T9S R67W, beside the People's Fort (S-0106); this pin is 0.3 mile from the Crull-Hammond cabin. Good to about a quarter mile.

Placed from a written description, such as a land section, a distance from a landmark or an old survey note.
