## What we know

The Plum Creek valley ranching district around Sedalia, listed on the National Register Oct. 29, 1995 per the county's 2009 landmarks map (S-0126; the county resource map cites a 1974 nomination by Cynthia Emrick and, elsewhere, Craig Trout): frame Victorian ranch houses of English-born families, among them the Curtis, Beeman, Cramer and Clay families (county map, S-0123).

Pin on the Douglas County Historic Resource Map (DCHR-043; Douglas County and Douglas County Libraries, 2012, on the Larkspur Historical Society's Google map, S-0123). Where that map and ours place the same site, the pins mostly fall within about 300 feet. Good to a few hundred feet.
